How we handle your personal information

Travel Panda Ltd. ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when providing travel advisory and bespoke trip-planning services, how we use it, and the rights you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide: name, email, phone, WeChat ID, city of residence;
  • Identity details required for bookings and visas: passport, date of birth, nationality;
  • Payment information (handled by our payment processors — we do not store full card numbers);
  • Technical information when you use the site: IP address, device, browser and timestamps.

2. How we use it

Only to respond to your enquiry, design and confirm itineraries, process visa and supplier bookings, support you while travelling, send content you subscribed to, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Who we share with

Only with suppliers strictly needed to deliver your trip — airlines, hotels, visa centres, destination management companies. We never sell your personal data.

4. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and applicable Chinese law, you may access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or restrict processing. Email privacy@travelpd.co.uk to exercise any of these rights.

5. Retention

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months. Booking records for travelled guests are kept up to 7 years to satisfy financial-regulation requirements.

6. International transfers

Because we operate between the UK and China, your data may be transferred across borders. We rely on standard contractual clauses and encryption to keep it secure.
